Flow Nozzles

Differential Pressure Flow Measurement Elements

Flow Nozzles are flow measurement devices that operate on the differential pressure (DP) principle, used to measure the flow of gas, liquid, and steam in pipelines. They increase the fluid velocity in a controlled manner to create the necessary pressure difference for measurement and provide reliable performance under demanding process conditions.

The nozzle structure provides higher mechanical strength and lower wear advantages compared to classic orifice plates. The differential pressure (ΔP) formed between the measurement points is measured by a differential pressure transmitter and converted into a flow value. This structure is particularly suitable for high-speed and high-temperature applications.

Flow Nozzles are widely preferred in power plants, chemical and petrochemical plants, and heavy industrial applications due to their long-lasting design and high pressure and temperature resistance.
